President Appoints Nafsiah Mboi As Minister of Health

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) eventually appointed Nafsiah Mboi as health minister. Nafsiah Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih replace the deceased until the end of a cabinet post in 2014.

"I see the ability, experience and dedication to him in the past, including the commitment and real work to advance public health," said SBY in the presidential palace in Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (13/6).

"I view him the right and good," said SBY.

SBY's decision to appoint Nafsiah is fit to reports circulating a few days. Nafsiah is known as the national secretary of the National AIDS Commission (KPA). Nafsiah will be sworn in tomorrow, Thursday, June 14, 2012.
